Toddlers to high schoolers, ALL children can make and experience art. One of the purposes of Mini Makers is to take a subject or technique and make it accessible to any age by designing projects appropriate for any level. The children, no matter their experience or grade, can complete a work of art and connect with the friends and new ideas around them.

Adventure

Making art is such an adventure! In a world of screens, it is necessary to get your hands dirty and dive into projects. Kids are encouraged to try new things, even if they are scary. They learn confidence, have a sense of curiosity restored, and their worlds grow a little big bigger.

Art is FUN

Really. Art is taken very seriously, and can be intimidating to children ( and adults). Art is a way to see through another person's eyes and travel to new places, but it is also a way to playfully find yourself. Kids need to let loose, take some of the pressure off, and just make!
